I have decided to branch out of my mommy zip code and get back to traveling! That’s right… Last Nights Look is hitting the road and expanding the travel section! I am going to feature my favorite fab hotel in a different city across the country (maybe even around the world! Woohoo!!).

My first stop, the ever so glamorous and spicy destination for the sexy snowbird… MIAMI!!!

Sasha, my trusty travel companion and I hit the beaches of Miami and had a phenomenal stay at The Betsy Hotel in South Beach. This is by far my FAVORITE boutique hotel in Miami for various reasons. It’s conveniently located across from the beach, right on Ocean Drive and within walking distance to all the local hot spots! There is nothing like staying at a beautiful boutique hotel! Resorts are fun, but the cozy feel of a boutique experience is incomparable. After my first day, I felt like I knew most of the staff; everyone from the doormen to the fab bartender who started pouring my drink as soon as she saw me walk down for happy hour. The staff is incredible and beyond willing to help in any way in order to make your stay memorable.

The hotel décor is beautiful and gives off an elegant yet comfortable homey vibe. Even though the hotel is located in the heart of South Beach, it completely stands out from the numerous other hotels located on Ocean Drive. There is an inexplicable elegance present from the moment you drive up to the hotel, making it stand out from all the others.

The roof deck is gorgeous and perfect for laying out, enjoying sunsets and of course, taking selfies haha. There is a bar conveniently located on the rooftop so you can order snacks and drinks throughout the day. They also have an OUTDOOR spa that is beyond luxurious and serene. It’s the only outdoor spa in Miami!! Getting a massage outside in the open air as you look at the beautiful ocean makes you truly appreciate the beauty of Miami.

The Betsy is actually one of the top 15 literary hotels in the WORLD and offers programs that embrace arts and culture. Throughout the hotel you can see incredible artwork and photography, unlike any other hotel I have ever stayed at. They often host music events and other exhibitions- how great is that?!? I love the fact that they are so involved in art and culture. Can you believe they even have a Writers Room? It’s a working studio space designed for visiting writers. The Betsy is currently undergoing a huge renovation and has some exciting plans for the near future! They are expanding and adding in some fab amenities as well as an event space. This renovation is expected to be complete in the Fall! I just might have to revisit The Betsy as soon as they are done with the reno !

All in all, The Betsy is the best Miami has to offer! A fabulous boutique hotel that is couple friendly as well as kid-friendly. Can’t ask for more! I really look forward to going back. Stay tuned for more #LNLTravels
