Its my Birthday!!! Wooo hooo! I am 41 years young today and have decided to celebrate all weekend long!!
Today (because its my birthday … 🙂 I wanted to wear a dress, so I opted for a flower frock to celebrate (me) and spring! P.S I was able to get in a few pics before it started raining but here are some of my fav floral dresses that you can where from spring into summer!
RStheCon Day 2! Todays events took place at the Crescent Hotel in downtown Dallas. My morning started out with such an inspirational speech from Rewardstyle founder Amber Venz Box. It is amazing to learn about the company she has built in such a short amount of time. Aimee Song, Kendra Scott and Jillian Harris also spoke and it was incredible to hear about each of their journeys. A common denominator throughout the was to stay true to yourself, be you and everyone has to follow their own path.
Can I just say that Dallas is such a great city! It’s soooo clean!!! The weather is wonderful and there are so many amazing places to shop. I went to Nordstrom at The Galleria and it was so nice to actually step foot in a mall.
So excited to be back in Dallas for the Rewardstyle Conference! This is my second year attending and i’m so ecstatic to be here, not only for the conference, but also because of the beautiful 80 degree weather). After checking in, I met up with some other bloggers I had met last year and it was so fun catching up.
All rise! All hail to the high-rise jean! This trend has made wearing jeans even more comfortable. I don’t see the high-rise trend going away anytime soon so if you don’t own a pair, it’s time to invest in one! It’s a flattering style that elongates the legs while trimming down the mid-section.
Spring has finally arrived! What comes along with a new season? Exciting clothing trends! This spring season has us mad for plaid, satin and last but certainly not least, the color fuchsia (my personal favorite color). Each season, I love to fashion forecast and be ahead of the game when it comes to upcoming seasonal trends. Why invest in new pieces if you don’t know whether or not they are going to be “on trend”? Splurging on fabulous staple pieces that I know will withstand the test of time is completely worthwhile. However, if it’s a trend that isn’t going to last long, I prefer to have fun with pieces that are not as expensive but still trendy enough to get me through the season.
