Clean Face

I have a face washing routine that was set in stone many, many years ago…high-school to be exact. I use Purpose soap to wash my face as well as an oil-free moisturizing wipe. I know it can be kind of a pain to take your makeup off at the end of the day but it is SO important for your skin. When I was filming the housewives, I had to wear heavy makeup almost every day. I noticed my face started to break out in weird spots, like under my jaw line and neck. It was all a result of not cleaning my face properly! Lots of people use makeup wipes but don’t think about washing their face afterwards. The makeup wipes appear to remove all of your makeup but it actually doesn’t! You have to take an extra step and wash your face with a cleansing soap after using the wipes. I have a simple 3-step process I use on a nightly basis to clean my face:

  • Wipe whole face with oil free makeup wipes
  • Gently around the eye with a  makeup remover using a cotton swab and eye makeup remover
  • Wash face with warm water and use a cleansing soap

Purpose Soap

Neutrogena Wipes

Cotton Swabs
