I know, I know…there is absolutely nothing worse than waking up to a zit. Whether you are staying at home all day or have a huge bussiness meeting…UGGGGGGGG it’s just the worst! I have been dealing with skin issues my whole life. Yes, I was on accurate in my early 20’s…During my early modeling days, my face was a mess. I had different makeup artists working on me every day, I had a poor diet and tons of travel reeked havoc on my poor skin.
It’s Makeup Monday and today it’s all about the eyes! There are certain eyeshadow colors that make your eyes pop. Since I have blue eyes, blue eyeshadow is my new go-to. I used to be nervous to wear vibrant colors, (i’ve always been more of a smokey eye girl), but I recently realized what a difference a color makes!We all have at least one of those eyeshadow palettes that have a variety of colors. Let’s be honest…how many of you have bought one of those multi-color palettes just because you liked one specific color? I’m 100% guilty of it. Well ladies and gents, it’s time to get a little adventurous and start experimenting with the other colors in those palettes.

Fall is here, which means it is time to swap out my summer signature scent for a bolder fall fragrance. I visited the perfume counters and tried a number of fragrances but couldn’t decide on one until I smelled the latest perfume from Cartier, Cartier Carat!
It is beyond important to keep you skin hydrated, no matter what time of year! Although it seems as if winter is the harshest time of year to stay moisturized, you may be surprised to find out that summertime can also wreak havoc on your skin. Whether it be from long days in a chlorinated pool or excessive air conditioning, your skin can easily dry out during the summer months. I personally like to use L’Occitane’s almond milk concentrate moisturizer on a daily basis. It has a very light fragrance and keeps your skin soft and supple. I also use their almond oil body wash in the shower, which is absolutely incredible! I didn’t know much about L’Occitane products until recently and am beyond impressed by the quality. By now, I hope you all know how much I honestly love Bloomingdales. It’s one of my absolute favorite department stores that has it all (including an incredible makeup counter). And my favorite lunch place 40 Carrots! I recently stopped by Bloomingdales to check out the latest products from Tom Ford and was beyond impressed. I found so many great products from their recent launch, including amazing satin matte lip colors, a lip exfoliator and my personal new favorite…Tom Ford’s lip sculptor in the shade “Exploit”. These are all new products that recently launched at Bloomingdales and I am so excited to share them with you! The lip sculptor is honestly amazing and the latest addition to my makeup bag; it officially comes with me anywhere I go.
It’s all about the Sunsets over summertime! Why not bring the sunset to your makeup by using bronzer, or warmer shades like orange and yellows! Go bold with your makeup and try something new! I am personally loving this sunset eye vibe! In order to get this look, it really just takes practice and finding the right shades for your skin tone. I like using this palette and blend various warm shadows together. It is basically the same concept of doing a smokey eye but instead of using dark tones, use shades that resemble a sunset! Practice makes perfect and remember to have fun because makeup is all about finding your own style and experimenting!
