Who can forget the iconic scene in Breakfast at Tiffany’s when Audrey Hepburn gets kissed in the rain, looking absolutely impeccable in her trench coat! Or Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca! That’s the power of the trench coat; it reads style, class and fashion. Ever wonder how the trench got its name? It got its name from literally being in the “trenches” during WWI. The peacoat became too heavy and the trench came into play for being water resistant and durable.
