Carousel Summer Fun! It’s all about exploring your city and getting out and doing those things you haven’t had time to do during the school year. The kids and I walked down to Battery Park and took a a spin on the famous SeaGlass Carousel .
I love when you can find super fun things to do right in your backyard! NYC is full of fun and exciting things to do with kids that are super inexpensive and often free! We live a short walk to Battery Park and had heard about the SeaGlass Carousel so we decided to check it out! This Carousel is a modern twist on the classic horse ride but has much more of an under the sea vibe than the Wild West. The battery park conservatory was created to restore and revitalize. When they were designing the interior of the park, they decided to pay homage to the fact that that area was the first site of the NY Aquarium. So to pay homage, they built this fantastic under water experience! The experience is even more exciting at night when the whole carousel is lit up. This is a fun adventure for every age. And I have to say… it would make a super cute date night! Very Romantic!
