The Joule Dallas #LNLTRAVELS

Photos by Angie Garcia

I was recently asked to perform the Vagina Monologues in Greenville Texas, along with two of my besties, Carole Radziwill and Brandi Glanville. If you’re not familiar with this show, you probably think I’m officially nuts, but if you have heard of it, it’s a great show, right?!? I was so excited when I found out we would be staying in Dallas because I knew it would be the perfect backdrop for an LNL shoot!

Before I tell you more about the monologues, I have to show you pictures of the stunning hotel I stayed at while in Dallas. The Joule hotel is located inside a beautiful, revitalized 1920’s neo-gothic building, right in the heart of downtown Dallas. This hotel is truly a visual masterpiece, decorated with museum quality artwork, including work by artists such as Andy Warhol and Tony Cragg. Isn’t that amazing?!? Besides the stunning contemporary décor and impeccable service, the hotel is filled with first-class dining, fab shops, a great fitness center and a glass-fronted rooftop pool. What else can you ask for?!

How about an epic subterranean spa?

The 8,000-square-foot spa at The Joule is incredible and such an exclusive experience. There is a gorgeous crystal steam room, sauna, ice fountain and a vitality pool (with built-in air massage loungers). This was such a relaxing experience and I was definitely in need of some pampering. We all need to indulge in a visit to the spa one in a while! If you have the opportunity to go to Dallas, a visit to The Spa at The Joule is a must. Here is a list of their amazing spa treatments.

I also have to tell you about the amazing fitness studio at The Joule…

I’m not one to take a workout class on a daily basis…but when I do take a class, I tend to opt for Pilates or Spin. Well guess what, The Joule has and amazing fitness studio, VITAL, and they offer yoga, HIIT, cycling and even TRX classes on a daily basis. I decided to take a cycling class and it was great! VITAL Fitness Studio has such great energy and instructors that really know how to get you motivated and in the mood to work out. There is something about the combination of music, color-changing ceiling lights and Performance IQ metrics that really got me going. Here is a link in case you are interested in reading more about what VITAL has to offer:

Overall, I must say, The Joule is on my list of the nicest hotels I’ve visited. Besides the spa and fitness studio, I highly recommend checking out their two restaurants: CBD Provisions and Americano. CBD Provisions is an upscale brasserie that is a HOT SPOT and offers Texan comfort dishes. It is the place to be for Sunday brunch. Americano is a delicious Italian restaurant, you can’t go wrong with either choice! If you’re planning a trip to Dallas anytime soon, I highly recommend staying at The Joule!
