One of my New Year’s Resolutions was to take care of my hair, skin and nails! This time last year, I was relying heavily on everyone else to help me keep up my beauty routine. When Covid hit last March, I was forced, like everyone else, to finally start taking care of my own routine and guess what?!? Almost one year later, and if I do say so myself, I am getting quite good at it! Pre-2020, I was going at least once a week to the hair salon, relying heavily on blowouts and hair styling.
When I started doing my own hair at home, I quickly realized that all of my hair tools were SO outdated and I didn’t have any proper haircare basics to protect my hair from heat damage. I looked at various brands and decided to try CHI because they have such a wide variety of products and are known for their professional haircare.
They have so many great products that I have listed below but my personal favorites are the Silk Infusion, the 44 Iron Guard and the Enviro 54 Firm Hairspray! I apply the Silk Infusion to my wet hair before using the blow dryer and then spray the 44 Iron Guard to protect my hair from the heat. These are both great products to use before straightening, curling or blow drying your hair!
The CHI Pro G2 Digital Titanium ceramic infused straightener is perfect to use whether you want to straighten, curl or beach wave your hair. My personal favorite is the CHI Spin N Curl ceramic coating curler! It is so easy to use, all you have to do is wrap your hair around the barrel and push a button. You then wait to hear a beep and it releases your hair with a perfect curl!! Hello CHI, where have you been my whole life?!? haha!
