I have such fond childhood memories of holiday shopping at Bloomingdales. My mother would have her gift list ready and we would spend the day at Bloomingdales, shopping from floor to floor, picking out gifts for our family and friends.

It’s the holiday season, which means sugar and spice and everything nice! Translate this saying into fashion and it means sequins, sparkles and razzle dazzle. I am obsessed with the new Scoop holiday collection exclusively available online at Walmart.com! Not only are the clothing and accessories beyond stylish, trendy and fashion-forward, they are affordable! You know what the means? You can buy more, more and more! Did I mention the quality is amazing?
I can’t believe it’s not leather! Pleather is back and better than ever. There are a bunch of things I love about “pleather“; it’s vegan, wrinkle free, travels well and is waterproof! The biggest plus, of course, is its price tag. These days, I am all about affordable, attainable and sometimes even disposable fashion. A lot of these pieces are super fun and currently on trend so the price point lets us live out our fashion dreams! I am all about a matching set so when I can across this gem, I had to share. Below are some of my favorite pleather pieces of the season! Happy Shopping!
Menswear has been a trend in women’s fashion for years but never has it been as polished as it is now, nor has it been as refreshingly easy to wear.
I am always looking for fresh ways to update my wardrobe. When I recently clicked on the Chico’s homepage, I was instantly drawn to the menswear inspired pieces.
In the past, one would associate menswear with being boxey, oversized and baggy (think executive boardroom meeting).
Woman would actually steal their boyfriends (or husbands) clothing and wear them as their own! Well ladies, I am here to say, stay out of their closets because menswear has been refined!
The look is now more tailored to fit a woman’s body while still keeping the relaxed men’s style.
I can’t remember the last time I was this excited about a collab! So one of my all-time favorite stores was Scoop. It was my go-to shopping destination in NYC and in the Hamptons. Remember those iconic Scoop shopping bags? Well, guess what? Thanks to Walmart, Scoop is back! They have a fabulous collaboration with Walmart and have brought back amazing designs with incredible Walmart prices.
Who can forget the iconic scene in Breakfast at Tiffany’s when Audrey Hepburn gets kissed in the rain, looking absolutely impeccable in her trench coat! Or Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca! That’s the power of the trench coat; it reads style, class and fashion. Ever wonder how the trench got its name? It got its name from literally being in the “trenches” during WWI. The peacoat became too heavy and the trench came into play for being water resistant and durable. Enough about the history of this fab coat, let’s get to seeing some of my favorite styles of the season!
This week is all about my favorite fall finds from Banana Republic! Each season, I find myself walking into my nearest Banana Republic (lucky me, I have one just a few shorts blocks away from my apartment). This summer I couldn’t get enough of their dresses and this fall is all about their great mixing and matching pieces! Silk skirts are great transitional pieces for fall, especially when paired with oversized sweaters and booties. Short sleeve turtleneck sweaters are a great way to layer, just throw on a leather jacket. Check out how I mixed and matched some of my favorite pieces of the season:
