The air is crisp, the leaves are falling and I can smell a yummy Yankee Candle burning in the kitchen LOL. It’s almost Thanksgiving!
This year, I decided to get crafty! The kids and I had so much fun decorating and setting the Thanksgiving table. We started off by decorating our table-runner using finger paint to make handprint turkeys. Any project that involves finger paint is always fun for the kids. We also made pinecone turkeys, which turned out to be a huge hit!
This season, Crate and Barrel had the cutest Thanksgiving decor. The entire plastic tableware set was super inexpensive and I can use it all year round. It is so easy to clean and no chance of broken dishes. After we finished setting the table, I read the kids The Thankful Book. It is written by one of my favorite children’s authors, Todd Parr. He writes some of the best children’s books and has a beautiful way of making important topics light and funny. The Thankful Book is a great way to explain to your children the meaning of Thanksgiving.
I hope that you all have a beautiful Thanksgiving with Friends and Family!
