Very rarely do I actually get to shop in an actual Nordstrom but boy oh boy, when I do, I feel like a kid in a candy shop! I spotted this cropped army green cargo jacket right away and was drawn to the color. Army green is one of my faves and I really do consider this color to be more on the neutral side. It pairs well with anything so I guess it is on the same level as a denim jacket! When I realized it was made by Topshop I knew it was going to be pretty good quality and extremely affordable. I immediately tried it on, it fit, I loved it but the cropped factor was a bit of an issue for me. I wasn’t sure I was vibing the crop but I am here to say that this is a current trend and when styles are trendy, just GO FOR IT! The super safe way to wear a cropped jacket is with a long piece like a maxi dress, jumpsuit or monochromatic look underneath (aka black jeans, black tank). BUT don’t be scared of a cropped jacket, it actually looks great with more than you expect! I also have worn it with a high-waisted skirt and bodysuit (looks super chic).
