I was going through my closet the other day and realized I didn’t own a nice pair of black silk pants! I haven’t really mentioned this in previous posts but silk pants are another MUST-HAVE item in everyone’s closet and a great staple piece. I have numerous pairs of jeans, leather pants and skirts but no silk pants.
So, naturally, I made my way to the Bloomingdale’s flagship store on 59thand Lexington to find a nice pair of slacks. If you haven’t seen this particular Bloomingdales lately, it is being completely remodeled and looks amazing! The layout is so clean cut and sectioned off by designer. They are still under construction but I can’t wait to see the finished product!
As I made my way through the store, a pair of silk pants by Eileen Fisher caught my eye. The combination of black and tan piping is classic yet really stands out. I found the perfect cashmere crewneck sweater to wear with these pants for an upcoming holiday party. I love Eileen Fisher because all of her pieces are sophisticated yet have a bit of a modern edge to them. The quality is also impeccable so I knew this was the perfect outfit to add to my “must-have” items!
