Holiday Season= Holiday Travel
Calm down, take a DEEP breath…I know, I know, it’s a pain in the patootie to travel over the holidays but I am going to give you a few of my travel/packing tips to make it a bit less painful! Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!!
I always pack a carry- on to reduce my airport time. I can’t stand arriving at my destitution and waiting forever to get my luggage! I love my Victorinox 4- way roller; it’s lightweight with a hard shell (no dents) and has traveled with me around the world ! It’s a bit pricey but I honestly think you get what you pay for when it comes to luggage. Here are some other brands I highly recommend: Lucas, Aerolite and Cabin Max.
IF you are still rocking the fabric bags, it’s time to change.. airlines are cracking down on carry-ons and your fabric bag is the first to get flagged because it tends to take up more room.
In order to fit everything into my carry-on, I LOVE using these fantastic packing cubes. I can sort out all of my clothes and everything is neatly organized. Also, don’t forget a laundry bag! Nothing worse then your dirty items mixing in with the clean ones!
I also found this awesome neck rest on Oprah’s Favorite Things and had to have it! You can store your phone and glasses in the easy to use pouches so you don’t lose them in the seat back pockets… ewwww!
I also love to travel in my fold-up, easy to pack Yosi Samras. They are easy to slide off when you go through security and they fit into any purse and take up very little space. I also always carry an eye mask with me! ALWAYS! On the plane, at home, in a hotel room, you won’t find me asleep without my eye-mask! I also tend to get cold on airplanes so I like to travel with some type of shall or scarf. I use it as a blanket, a wrap and once when I was in a pinch, I even used it as a picnic blanket ! Lastly you need a yummy snack and plenty of water! Two of my high-protein, easy to travel with snacks are Barnanas and BettyLous balls .
Save travels to you all and to all a good night!
