It’s that time of the year again…the dash to the holidays is here. It’s the time of year for being grateful, thankful and giving, not getting. With that being said, it’s also the time of year when you attend holiday party after party. Maybe you are hosting a holiday open house or you are invited to a fab new years eve party? Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable holiday season when many people focus on giving back to others. This is such an important day for me and I strongly believe in giving back to others, especially during the holiday season. I work closely with Smile Train, an international children’s charity with a sustainable approach to solving a single solvable problem…cleft lip and palate. This is such an incredible charity and I love working with them. I have personally traveled with them to both Mexico and Haiti while witnessing their incredible work. They not only teach doctors in other countries how to perform cleft lip and palate surgeries but they also teach people how to deal with the aftermath of such surgeries. I recently had the pleasure of participating in an incredible event hosted by The Madison Avenue Business Improvement District (BID). Madison Avenue is the epicenter of shopping and luxury in Manhattan. The BID put on a One-of-a-Kind Luxury event where many of the stores had one of a kind luxury items.
