I have very exciting news!!!! I just dropped off my puffy winter coat at the dry cleaner, do you know what that means? It means it’s officially spring! No more heavy coats, hats or mittens, it’s time to show your lovely feet and lighten up those layers! Blazer season is around the corner and you all know how much I love a blazer! I have decided to start a Casual Fridays post to showcase some of my favorite OOTD TGIF looks. Today, I am wearing my FAVE new jeans, they are definately on the expensive side but so worth it!

It’s Tuesday and I am trying on the latest at Madewell. Last spring, I bought almost all of my jeans from this store. I love, love, love their wide-leg cropped. I bought mine last spring and wore them throughout the summer. I had to check out Madewells newest spring trends and wanted to share my favorite picks with you! Listen, I am a lady on a budget these days and love to buy more for less! I mean doesn’t everyone?!? After all, the more money I save, the more money I can add to my “Chanel bag jar” lol!  You know I love my high low fashion, so I was on the hunt for an updated fun summer maxi dress and a new pair of cropped trousers! This pop-up flower shop is one of my favorite places to visit! Even when it’s cold or rainy outside, it always feels like spring at this shop. Ugg here we go again what to wear!? This morning it was 44 degrees and rainy when I woke up! Yesterday it was sunny and in the high sixties. What is going on?!? It’s so hard to commit to a floral spring dress when it’s so cold. So, I’ve decided a happy medium is to keep wearing dark colors but add in a spring trend like a lightweight leopard trousers.

What were you all up to this past weekend? Me? I had a full mommy sport weekend filled with softball, soccer and baseball. The weather is playing tricks on me, while the kids were in easy layers and cool as cucumbers, I was in heavy sweats and a jean jacket. The good news is spring has sprung but the bad news??? My closet hasn’t received the memo! This t-shirt dress is the perfect seasonal transition piece. It’s cute enough to head to lunch after the ballpark but comfy enough to sit on the bleachers and cheer on your little ball player! It’s finally warm enough outside to where a slide but if you’re not pedicure ready, you can opt for a slick sneaker HERE! Can we just talk about this bag…I LOVE it and it’s on SALE for under $40!!

Springing into nice weather with this seasons new neutral; leopard! It’s a cool, calm and sophisticated look. Nothing like a good maxi dress with a downtown chic vibe.

It’s Try On Tuesday and many of you have asked me to try on white denim. You ask and you shall receive! Spring and summer are all about white jeans but it can often be difficult to find the right pair. I am back at Bloomingdales today trying on various white jeans so I can keep you posted on size and fit.

White jeans are the season opener in fashion, it’s like the first baseball game of the season when you wear your coveted white jeans out for the first time. A few days ago, I reached into the back of my closet and dusted off last years white jeans but realized I was in desperate need for a new pair! Last years pair was proof that I had an epic summer (aka my white jeans were no longer white…). So here we are, back at Bloomies looking for that perfect pair! Wondering what I have been thinking about every morning this past month? What to wear during this crazy and unpredictable weather! It’s a daily struggle with the ever-changing temperature. One day it’s 30 degrees and the next day it’s 70!! Ahh it’s almost impossible to look cute. As my mom used to say, dress in layers. The perfect solution is mixing in some of your winter staples with your new spring buys, hence this fab chiffon snake-print skirt. Stay warm with a hat and some leather but rock the day with snake vibes for spring! If the day turns out to be 70 degrees, lucky you, just shed the leather!

It’s time for a lunch break! Today is causal Friday so grab your trench coat, put on those new slides you just bought for spring and go grab a bite to eat. Joggers are trendy this season and the perfect upgrade from those cozy sweatpants you wish you could wear on a daily basis. I have been shopping quite a bit lately, looking for the perfect pieces to add to my spring wardrobe and I noticed that joggers are just about everywhere! LOVE it! Comfy, cozy and chic? Yes, yes and yes! My personal favorite joggers are the classic army green but now you can find an amazing variety of colors, prints and patterns. This is one pant that should definitely be added to your closet this season!
