With hot sunny days just around the corner, I was in need of some new summer staples! As I’m sure you all know by now, Bloomingdales on 59thstreet is my go-to department store when I’m searching for the latest trends. The store is so easy to maneuver, the staff is beyond helpful and Forty Carrots on the 7thfloor is one of my favorite places to enjoy lunch (and a frozen yogurt).
Nothing says summertime like floral and fuchsia! Every closet needs a few new summer maxis’s for the season. I personally love a long dress because it makes me feel feminine. And you know what’s all the rage? Neon shoes! I wasn’t quite ready to wear neon yellow just yet, so pink it is! P.S, the sandals are under $100 so it’s an easy buy to try!
Trying on again this Tuesday at Nordstrom! It’s such a treat to be in the store! Not sure if you knew this but we don’t actually have a Nordstrom department store in NYC. Every once in a while, I get out of the city to do some good old mall shopping and Nordstrom is at the top of my list. Getting into the store to try on is such a thrill. There are so many pieces that I have been eyeing online but didn’t want to order without trying on. I fell in love with some of the pieces and with others, well, they weren’t what I had expected. Obsessed with this lightweight gauze dress! I am having lunch today at this fun restaurant in south street seaport called Chloe! For the longest time I though it was the bag store, lol till I peeked in the window! They have the best salads and awesome outside perfect people watching seating. What to wear to lunch with the ladies!? This dress ha and all summer long! How cute are the ties in the back!
It’s Tuesday Try On’s today at Nordstrom! I am so excited to be in store trying on because online shopping doesn’t do these dresses any justice.
