What do you wear on a hot sticky day in NYC!? A lightweight white knit dress thanks to Banana Republic! I am home for a few days in-between our summer plans, running all over the city and it’s HOT!!!! In the high 90’s with humidity though the roof. Needless to say, no matter what you wear, you will end up being a hot mess BUT who says you can’t rock a sweaty summer look?!? LOL! As long as you have the right clothing, you will be good to go!

Ok, so first things first. If you don’t have a Nordstrom card you should definitely apply for one HERE. Only Nordstrom cardholders have access to the sale starting today. If you don’t have a card, no worries, the sale will open up to everyone on July 19th at 12:30pm EST. One of my favorite parts about The Hamptons is all of the fresh produce. I love visiting all the farm stands, especially Balsam Farms. If you’ve ever experienced an East Coast summer, you know it’s all about the corn! This Connecticut girl can’t pass up sweet summer corn. Side note, these Sandals are on sale for under $40, had to share!
Summertime has officially arrived! The kids are out of school, I am getting in vacation mode and spending this week in The Hamptons. Where is my first stop? None other than my favorite restaurant…The Clam Bar. Summer hasn’t really started until I have had a clam roll!!!
On another note, I am loving this Elan Cover-Up Maxi because it is the perfect multifunctional dress. You can wear it as a beach coverup but also dress it up and wear it out to lunch. Belt it, throw on some nice sandals and you are ready to go from beach to brunch. Overall this dress is the BEST $68 you will spend when it comes to a fab summer dress! I treat myself to a new Elan dress every season!

Puffy sleeves are ALL the range and I totally understand why. They add some flare to any piece and definitely makes a statement while keeping you on trend. I am loving this linen dress from Arielle’s latest collection and highly recommend it if you are looking for that perfect chic summer look.
