Remember when your Mom would say, “Put on your Sunday best”? Which always meant put on the nicest dress in your closet? Well, now that we are in the middle of quarantine and isolation, my Sunday best means wearing my nicest bathrobe haha! Now that winter has finally allowed spring to prevail, I have traded in my wooly big, bulky robe for a silky dress robe. Below are some of the latest robes that I’ve been wearing during these past few crazy months! They all make me feel great and give me life while making coffee on a Sunday morning lol!

The New England gal in me loves, loves, loves a nautical stripe! I have the fondest memories of being down at the Connecticut shore or up in Cape Cod during the summers while always wearing blue and white nautical stripe; it’s such a summer staple. I am loving how all of the different silhouettes are so popular (I linked some of my favorites for you below). The classic blue and white has become a neutral and matches just about everything in your wardrobe!

Tie-dye is back with a vengeance and holding on stronger than ever. Just about everything you could possibly purchase comes in some form of tie dye! Name it, you can tie-dye it! LOL. Dresses, sweats, home decor…the possibilities are endless! This Tie-dye trend is not just for the kids, it’s suitable at any age! It looks like we are all continuing to self isolate throughout this summer, so all of these tie-dye trends are perfect for a backyard BBQ, front yard social distancing soirée or a cozy zoom call with friends!

Finally, the weather has shifted and we are seeing warm and sunny days! Along with the change in weather is a change in my wardrobe; out with the boots, in with the sandals. My dark winter clothes are being replaced by bold summer hues and I’m loving it.

I have been a huge fan of Pitusa for years, having first discovered the brand while on a shopping trip to Bloomingdales. I was instantly attracted to their bright, vibrant colors and how could you resist those tassels?!?

When I was recently in Miami and shopping around Wynwood Walls, I came across Pitusa’s flagship store! Woohoo! I was so excited to go in and explore! If you aren’t familiar with this brand, they are based in Miami but the majority of their line is made in Peru. They have everything from everyday cozy sets to the most comfortable loungewear, chicest coverups and lightweight dresses and rompers, ideal for summer. The Bermuda short, officially not just reserved for our grandparents on their honeymoon to the actual island of Bermuda haha! Last summer, these long shorts made an appearance on the runways of Paris and NYC then into our department stores and eventually into our closets! I fell in love with a pair I saw in People Magazine so I bought these on a whim and guess what? They are officially my favorite pair of shorts!
