Yum, yum, yum! This is by far my favorite snack. I first discovered this delicious snack when I was on set for a modeling job (FYI I love going to this particular studio because they always have the best caterer haha)!

Anyways, this particular caterer makes some of the most incredible food, but of course, I always head straight to the table that has these delicious, thin apple slices covered in peanut butter and granola. Innovative? LOL I know, I know, this snack is so easy to make but hello… I would have never thought of it!

Apples are my kids favorite snack…well, it’s their favorite healthy snack. My kids love making their own apple slices and adding fun topping like raisons, shredded coconut, dried fruit, cereal…the possibilities are endless! This is by far my favorite healthy snack that is easy to make and my kids actually love it!!! If you have picky eaters at home, this is definitely a recipe you’ll want to try!

1. Appola Discs

Ingredients:

2 apples of your choice

Your favorite granola (we love Bare Naked Sea Salt Caramel Apple)

Justin’s nut spread (or other one of your choice)

Directions:

Core apples and slice into 1/2 inch ‘discs’

Top with nut spread and then granola

This is a modern twist on a classic apple and peanut butter snack – it’s always fun for children to make, and people of all ages love it!

**For those with a nut allergy, use sunflower or hemp butter.
